FNUF hosts volunteers in a one-year project entitled "Involve the youth the North". The project objective is to increase the mobility of young people to increase their employability, possibility to study and learn and to influence both their local and global society. By focusing on mobilty we want the youth to realize that they have the possibility to have an impact on their own future. The main objective is to make young people more active in their citizenship by participating in our activities to get inspiration and tools, which they can use to make an impact on their own future both local and global. By arranging activities for young people in the Nordic region we want to ashieve awareness of the Nordic Region and EU and it's possibilities for mobility. In those meetings we want to build in perspectives of entreprenurship, languages, intercultural awarness and non-formal learning. We want to arrange activites such as workshop, konferences, study-visits and cultural visits. Stockholm will be the main location for the project but we will cooperate with our local organizations and our sister organisations in the Nordic region. The volunteer's role in this project is to develop creative, inspiring and motivational activities for young people by finding and using his/her own ideas and experiences.
