In Lithuania last year is recorded the lowest number of unemployed, but market forecasts indicate the need for higher-skilled workers. Thus, greater attention should focus on the quality initial and continuing vocational training services. Today, employers poses allowed significant requirements of not only the job seekers, but also of vocational training institutions. In view of the current situation in the school actively cooperates with business organizations, labor exchange, farmers, clarifying what occupations are most needed, and what employee skills most valued. The aim is to increase compliance with vocational training to labor market needs.In the country a shortage of skilled workers, a large part of workers' existing knowledge and practical skills does not meet the needs of employers. In order to fully comply with the requirements of employers, training institutions community to ensure quality of vocational training and labor market to prepare qualified professionals. In order to achieve good results in vocational training, it is necessary to continuously improve the training (learning) quality and to upgrade of vocational training base.Communication and cooperation with employers in Lithuania and foreign organizations, discussing the various theoretical and practical aspects of vocational training to achieve better results, to ensure quality of vocational training, more attractive to young people in the labor market marketable professions and would, as an improvement in their general capacity development.The project aims - in accordance with foreign vocational training institutions and social partners to seek experiences, that businesses involved in vocational training, development of entrepreneurial, creative and initiatives, ready to profession and able to adapt to a rapidly changing labor market qualified specialist.Objectives of the project:- Access to foreign partners in organizing vocational training and job features, preparing qualified specialists in the rapidly changing labor market.- Access to business representatives the importance of educating skilled professionals, their knowledge, skills and competencies, vocational training environment.- To analyze foreign vocational schools and social partners in cooperation examples, that reveal the representatives of the labor market investment opportunities in vocational training.- To improvement of vocational training performing, organizing and supervising persons and Mazeikiai Businessmen Association members, management, subject-specific, general and professional competencies, capitalizing on the experience of foreign countries.- To establish and strengthen close cooperation between Lithuania, Portugal, Malta and Spain educational institutions and businesses, to share the experience of cooperation.The project will be implemented in Portugal, Malta and Spain vocational training institutions and small and medium sized enterprises.The project duration of one week in Portugal (Montijo) - in October, 2016, Malta (Valletta) - in November, 2016, Spain (Tenerife) - in April, 2017.By participating in the project specialist, organizing, conducting and supervising vocational training and Mazeikiai Businessmen Association members:- Improve and deepen the knowledge of vocational training and labor market interconnectedness understanding, will help improve the quality of vocational training and encourage innovation in vocational training institutions.- Improve the knowledge, skills and competencies in order to facilitate personal development.- Improve the socio-cultural skills: teamwork peculiarities, mutual understanding and communication relations in a new environment.- Improve foreign language skills in professional and daily life environment.- Get acquainted with the Portuguese, Maltese and Spanish culture, customs and traditions.- Experience and knowledge by the participants will present their organizations colleagues in council meetings, that is, specialists in organizing, conducting and supervising vocational training, school teacher fellow school at the council meeting and the Mazeikiai Businessmen Association members - at the Council meeting.- Develop common guidelines "Investments in the qualified specialist through vocational training", will be used, as an additional tool, to improve vocational training (learning) quality of service and increase the availability of the different needs for students.- Prepare the visit of the Portuguese, Maltese and Spanish presentations, which will present the final project dissemination event "Qualified labor market specialist at a vocational school model, based on the experience of EU countries" time at the Mazeikiai Polytechnic School.- Collected and systematized the the material will be the participating organizations on websites, information stands, libraries of educational institutions, Mazeikiai Polytechnic School of the newspaper "Zvilgsnis" and in the regional media.
