Into the Wild - Young leadership in Urban & Rural environments.How will 10 young people from the south of Europe come to turns if they are put in a rural area in north Sweden? And how will 10 young people from the north of Europe come to turns if they are put in an urban city in the south of Europe? Both groups will go into the wilderness – urban or rural.Through sports, dance and film making the 20 participants (10 from Sundsvall and 10 from Lisbon) will discover leadership in different forms together as a group; how to lead others and – maybe most important – how to lead themselves, to take control over their own lives. All of them have foreign origin but lives in their new country since years and this will be new life-learning experiences for them.The results from the project, especially the outcome on the youth analyses, their new experience, knowledge and how each and every one has grown as a person and how this will affect their daily life, together with information about Erasmus+ will be disseminated on booth parts website. We can already see from the planning stage that the youth has grown by planning the activities that they are going teach for the rest of the group. Both parties will present the results for the youth in their youth centers on an evening event, for the politicians and civil servants who are responsible for the youth in the city. We also hope the local newspapers will notice the project in Lisbon and Sundsvall.After the visits in Sundsvall and Lisbon the youth will answer a questionnaire survey and also after the project the two youth groups will reflect and analyze the project, experience and results together with the leaders. In the long run these young people will help our organizations to understand needs and strengths in this group of often socioeconomically, disadvantaged young people between 15-25 years of age, with foreign origin, and they will function as role models for others.
