Start date: Jun 1, 2016, End date: Jun 30, 2017 PROJECT  FINISHED

PROJECT: Social Intervention and Support to groups with disabilitiesThe High School Leonardo de Chabacier in Calatayud (Zaragoza) have experience in teaching Training Programmes for the Care of Dependent Persons (previously named health and medical care services,) since 2005. We have a total of 7 interested people including pupils and teachers. The main focus of this project stems from the need to meet students and teachers’ expectations from the point of view of methodological innovation. In the commitment to going for a high-quality Professional Training Cycle and our students' improvement employment prospects, we consider that the fact that our High School Centre takes a stand on the Erasmus Programme, is going to enable us to achieve the aims we have commit ourselves to, being an opportunity not only for our educational centre, but also for Calatayud and its surrounding area. The mobility of our students and our teachers in these kind of projects encourage and embrace the principles of the Eurepean Citizenship, favouring employability and working mobility on one side, and making educational innovation much easier, as one of the cornerstones of Professional Training at present. In this way, social intervention is intended to be fostered from different models, compared to those of EU countries, benefiting inter institutional learning and cooperation within/according to the Europan Framework.Professional skills are assumed to be developed by means of linguistic and cultural immersion, in an open-minded, democratic Europe, which enable positive synergies, and consequently, work from Calatayud, and therefore, be able to show our knowledge and strengths in order to take advantage of the experiences gained in this project.
