To strengthen the competitiveness and innovation capacity of the cross-border area between France and Flanders, the partners focus on personalised medicine, in particular pathology research for which thearea has already gained international recognition: neurodegenerative diseases, diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, infectious diseases and cancer.
