Internationalized Curricula Advancement at Russian Universities in the Southern region

The wider objective is to enhance the quality of education in computer-based engineering and the employability of Southern Russian graduates in this field through internationalization of Master curricula along the Bologna lines. Specific objectives: to set up a virtual RU-EU graduate school in IT in Engineering; to develop IT in Engineering Master program based on 4 flows at 4 RU universities; to set up an IT training and certification centre; to accredit new double diploma programs at national and international level. The project outputs are: Master curriculum with 4 flows: IT in Software Engineering; IT in Electrical Engineering; IT in Biomechanics and IT in Industrial Engineering; a virtual RU-EU graduate school in IT in Engineering; training and certification centre; 45 trained teachers in IT and methodology, 56 mobile students (RU and EU), 35 trained business representatives; nationally accredited and internationally validated program. The project coordinator is LiU. The project evaluation committee will develop QA tools for each output and will monitor timely implementation of all project activities. Dissemination of project outputs will be done through the project web site, project handbook, dissemination conference, DVD. Specific measures will be undertaken to ensure the good exploitation of outputs within and beyond project lifespan.
