INTERNATIONALITATION OF VOCATIONAL TRAINING

The "INTERNATIONALITATION OF VOCATIONAL TRAINING" project was created in response to the need for schools to provide their students the opportunity to expand and improve the quality of their training practices in European companies doing to get in touch with the reality of single labor market European. The close collaboration of schools consortium with the union STEPV (majority union of education) has facilitated the development of this project to meet the demand of schools.
The difficult employment situation in Spain, where youth unemployment rate exceeds 50%, makes it difficult for young people to find their first job. Mobility projects facilitate and expand the expectations of entering the labor market, both national and European.
Schools and the union need to establish European networks of knowledge that allow to get in touch with: companies, educational institutions, social partners and local authorities. Being in touch with innovation, share best practices and learn about European policies, improving the quality of their teaching and combating youth unemployment and school dropout. The consortium is made up of three institutes of Valencia and STEPV to act as coordinator.
Evaluation of the participants. The competitions will be certified with ECVET and are defined from an initial evaluation. The activities within the company will aim to achieve these skills and be customized for each. Motorization. Monitor the evolution of the participants by the means established in the project will take. Project evaluation. Dissemination. Dissemination activities are planned throughout the whole project. A conference final dissemination of results was performed.
The project is designed for 66 students or recent graduates of average degree of professional families 'Administration and Management' (cycle Administrative Management), trade and marketing (cycle T. Commerce) and Health (cycle T. nursing assistants Cures ) that made a stay of one month (from January 10 to June 10, 2015) to permit, in the case of students, integrate into your training cycle practices undertaken as part of the module "Training Centers Work "(FCT). The stays were held in Italy, Malta and Portugal.
The main activities carried out the project partners are:
Preparation of mobility. Including: Selection of participants, initial assessment of their skills, previous training of participants, logistical and contractual aspects, coordination ... The main objective of IOVT is that participants develop through training practices in European companies, skills and abilities to complete, in a practical way, the skills acquired in VET and efficiently incorporate the European single labor market. They need to develop specific and technical skills on the specialty who have studied but other key skills such as cultural, linguistic, entrepreneurship and personal initiative, ability to work in teams and knowledge of other working environments to facilitate insertion will also be necessary in the European labor market, either on their own or that of others. The project is directly linked to the 2020 strategic priorities and agrees to help the EU and its Member States to generate higher employment, productivity and social cohesion.
Performing stay. Starting the program in companies. Mobility also includes cultural activities.
Dissemination activities and mobility itself will create an impact at local, regional and national levels. Although not involved in the project, other organizations at local, regional and national levels will benefit from the project results:
Improving the skills of young .Improves of youth employment rates. Possibility of contacts with other European institutions to share best practices. Ability to develop projects of European cooperation. Improving the quality of education provided in schools, curb dropout, expand language skills, Ability to incorporate business networking reception of foreign students. Knowing how new models are used ECVET certification. Besides the impact on the participants, the project will affect the partners promoting European cooperation and rapprochement between business and schools.
To facilitate the incorporation of women into the labor market. Promote social inclusion.
