Internationalisierung und Professionalisierung der Fachdidaktik unter besonderer Berücksichtigung der modernen Technik im Unterricht
Start date: Jun 1, 2015, End date: May 31, 2016 PROJECT  FINISHED

We are a multicultural and multinational school, so the aim of the project is to contribute to international understanding and to encourage our students to have a positive attitude towards the integration of Europe. Another main focus is meaningful use of ICT and the expansion of our bilingual teaching (CLIL). The three participants for 2015 have demonstrated their commitment for education development (exchanges, establishment of bilingual teaching at our school and modern teaching methods) and are therefore qualified to take part in this measure. A multi-dimensional approach will be followed, that is training on EFL methodology, ICT and CLIL with a focus on science. We want to contribute new didactic knowledge to our colleagues, to facilitate new exchanges with other countries and seek new international contacts. The new ideas and the newly acquired knowledge of the three project participants in the summer of 2015 will be the focus of special meetings at the beginning of the school year, they will also offer teacher training schemes for our colleagues. Our school administration, parents and students will be involved as well, and the heads of our language departments will share this knowledge with other grammar schools in Munich For our school, we expect a further expansion of our international contacts, possibly via etwinning as well as for another Comenius exchange project and the participation in international competitions. In addition, we hope to strengthen bilingual education at our school, and encourage the meaningful use of ICT, especially in foreign language teaching.
