Internationale Professionalisering Personeel Tabor College Werenfridus
Start date: Dec 1, 2014, End date: May 31, 2016 PROJECT  FINISHED

Our school has a strong international focus, at first because we will educate our students, to become involved world citizens, and secondly because our school has a huge biligual department in which the education is even more focussed on the international society. Half of the lessons are taught in English. All project activities are focussed on the increase of the quality of the organistion itself, the internationalisation of the organisation, the improvement of the curriculum, the improvement of the actual lessons, the prevention of drop out of our gifted students, the optimalisation of ict technology and ict skills, the internationalisation and professionalisation of our staff 38 staff members will be educated abroad in clil courses, language acquisition courses, subject content courses and international management training. Six staff members will travel to our partnerschools. Four of them will travel to Sofia to teach their own subject in English and to develop new lesson material to strengthen our curriculum. Two will go to Breno to learn more about Their Ipad education and to cooperate in development of ict structure, apps and lesson material. The Italian school is our partner for two years now. This high level secondary college works with Ipads in the whole school. Our school has just started, and therefore we can learn a lot from this experienced partner. Italy is also intersted in our programs, infrastructure and didactic skills. The schools will cooperate in solving technical and diactical problems, and will exchange apps and lesson plans. The Bulgarian school is an ASEF member, just as we are. Both our school teach foreign languages on a high level, and do bilingual education as well. Therefore this school is important to us. The Bulgarian school is more experienced in exchange and proffessionalisation than we are. Bulgaria is highly interested in our curriculum and didactic skills, and so are we. The department principals will evaluate the activities through several competention sessions, to ensure the newly developed competentions will be maintained and registered. they also take reponsibility for the development end maintenance of the curriculum. In this way we will step up in quality. However this project is an ongoing one. Each and every year these activities will be repeated ens improved to ensure the quality of our education maintains it's high level.
