Educational institutions and educational policies across nations vary significantly with many questioning - what is the best way forward? The International Skills Excellence Exchange (I-SEE) project ams to contribute to the answer by disseminating and sharing best practice on the provision of skills and excellence across international nations. The aim of I-SEE is to allow nations to benchmark achievements against internationally leading nations and develop strong relationships to expand on their future learnings. The project offers a range of opportunities for learners, staff and educational policy makers to understand and to determine on how best to develop better quality teaching and learning for the future. With a focus on economically important sectors the research and outcomes of the I-SEE project will have a key impact on:•Continual Professional Development opportunities for staff•Identifying and closing skills gaps •Preparing learners for the global marketplace- Improving the quality of teaching and learning in Wales-Improving the integration of employer skill demands into curriculum delivery.Key staff involved in the teaching of curriculum and coaching and mentoring to skills competition competitors will take part over two year period covering Construction and Engineering vocational skills delivery in Germany.
