INTERNATIONAL MOBILITIES
Start date: Jun 1, 2016, End date: May 31, 2018 PROJECT  FINISHED

For many years, our companies have been facing the same challenge : economic crisis, increase in unemployment of people, especially young people, discrepancy between the companies' needs and the skills offered. At the same time, 45% of our companies now have to become international in order to increase their sales and develop their business. Getting international deals in now a priority and is no longer the prerogative of international corporations. Our training center is therefore aware that, od fcourse, we need to train good technicians, good profesionnals. They need to have good skills and be rtechnically reliable BUT these employees also need to be adaptable, able to communicate in English, be flexible, think 'HGerman, English or Portuguese", be able to understand other cultures and work with people who do not have the same background and culture.Theuy also need to be able to implement new working methods or work with new machines and tools. Our objective is to internationalise 100¨of our apprentices.Particpants will be metalwork apprentices who do have a lot of job opportunities on an international level. When they come to our training venter, we offer them to go abroad for 1 week to "discover" what is it to travel, to spend dome time in another country, another company, another culture. They travel in small groups with 1 or 2 chaperons. This trip id like an initiation to what their future will bring. Then in the second year, they will travel to a European country and spend three weeks working aborad for a host company. The targeted group is metalwork apprentices, 10 people. We want to develop their appretite for one (or more !) experiences in Europe. As a training center we want to be recognised as an Expert in International mobility and we want to help our French partner companies help the skills of their staff.
