Starting 2001, OWH Studio organizes the International Documentary Film Festival CRONOGRAF, which has successfully reached the 13th edition. IDFF CRONOGRAF has a great popularity in Republic of Moldova and also an international reputation, being among the most important film events, especially in the South-East and Central Europe. The festival is a real opportunity for the local directors to affirm and share their vision with notorious international filmmakers. Documentary films from more than 40 countries, including Moldova, participate annually in the preselection stage, in 5 competitive sections: Main Section, cadRO Section, Local Production, A LIKE for Documentary, Eyes on Moldova. Furthermore, the festival program includes press conferences, Q&A, round tables, exhibitions and workshops on documentary film. At the last editions, we developed a good cooperation platform between CRONOGRAF and other European festivals and cineforums: One World Romania, ClipAward (Germany), Jihlava IDFF (Czech Republic), B2B Doc. At the current edition, CRONOGRAF will host representatives of: Astra Film Festival (Romania), SimFest (Romania), Millenium Festival (Bruxelles), Festival Europeen du Film d’Education (France). The festival novelty is the CRONOGRAF Junior satellite event dedicated to film literacy. In the same order a daily CRONOGRAF newspaper ("Cronica de CRONOGRAF" is the original title) aim to reflect and stimulate the audience opinions .During the summer of 2014 we launched the first travelling edition CRONOGRAF on tour, with an itinerary that covered 19 destinations from Republic of Moldova and abroad (Ukraine, Romania). In 2015, other 23 localities became hosts for CRONOGRAF film caravan. This way we came close to filmgoers throughout the country, in places where the cinema hall were destroyed or no longer functioned for more than 20 years.
