Internacionalizacija i digitalizacija za unapređenje konkurentnosti škole

"Internationalization and digitization to improve the competitiveness of the school" is a title of the project; 13 teachers and the headteacher applied for it in 15 seminars and one job shadowing. It is our wish to develop skills and competences (inter-cultural, ICT and management) and ensure that our school becomes well organized, modern, with creative and interactive teaching facing the European dimension and positive changes. The main goal of the whole project is to ensure the sustainable development and competitiveness of the school.Participation in EU projects and education and communication with EU colleaguespointed our weaknesses (primarily in the area of digitization) and the possibility todevelop. We are therefore very interested in participating in the seminars provided by organizers, the countries with the best European education, which will have a positive impact on the professional development of all employees, our students, their competence and competitiveness in in the future education, including their parents and members of the broader educational community.The applicants believe that our participation in the Erasmus + CA1 project is a unique opportunity to reach our goals and long-term development vision of our school.International contacts which the participants will create through participating the seminars and job shadowing will help them in the realization of joint projects, the possibilities of networked e-learning and developing a sense of European citizenship. Teachers applied for seminars according to the needs of school and profession , and long-term European development plan, but also differences within their class. Coordinators are chosen to fit our development strategy. Our rejuvenated team is full of creative individuals,eager for change, but aware that competence should still develop. The area with the greatest need for improvement is ICT as well as the transition to digital forms of teaching that would meet the needs of today's students. Modernization of teaching and extra-curricular activities (The Strategy of Education and the new curricular reforms) involves the introduction of innovations,developing creative and critical thinking, and indirectly the language and communication competences of both students and teachers. Some of the training will facilitate our approach and help improving the curriculum for gifted students and those with disabilities. We are particularly aimed at modernizing the steam areas and to raise awareness of the usefulness of the subject in everyday situations. Our students also need to prepare for life in demanding modern society full of challenges, to become active and successful citizens of EU and beyond. The European dimension of school and internationalization of curriculum is aimed at understanding other cultures and people, tolerance of diversity, awareness of the minority groups'problems and solving problems of globalization. New thinking techniques will promote change , help resolve conflicts and encourage creativity. Our Cooperation with regional cultural and institutions 0f science will be extended to new ideas and methodology for mutual benefit, and provide a new educational dimension for the students.Our strategy of modernization and European development plan includes the successful leadership and management , which requires competences that will be understood by analyzing the most successful EU education systems (Finland, Estonia, Iceland) and their experiences of good practice.The project team appointed the teachers for the organization of mobility, as well as dissemination and evaluation of the project. Due to careful organization, we will take care of all its phases, in order to ensure the success of implementation and real benefits for all participants, the whole school, and beyond. IN preparation and implementation of mobility, we will use all available materials, portals, as well as experience and contacts. Self-assessment and assessment of the quality of the seminar will be carried out during the training. Materials will be collected and stored on the TwinSpace. The lecture and dissemination will be held after every seminar in our and other schools and the wider community, through eTwinning, social networks, press and electronic media. This will help to promote Erasmus seminars . All participants will receive EU certificates with clear qualifications and aquired competences that are recognized across the EU, based on which they will be able to create their Europass portfolio. After completion of the entire project we will bring together all the results, evaluate the project and monitor its impact on competence of students and teachers, the modernization of curriculum and teaching methods, management and overall school environment and atmosphere. We expect that the new, quality school will contribute to its competitiveness in the region and beyond and ensure its sustainability.
