Interkultureller Austausch zwischen Berufsausbildungssystemen
Start date: Jun 1, 2016, End date: May 31, 2017 PROJECT  FINISHED

The project aims at providing the workforce of larger international companies with good language skills and intercultural skills. The BSMN wants to satisfy these demands during their apprenticeship. The apprentices get into touch with a different county and culture and can improve their language skills (especially hearing and listening) through activities like technical projects, participating in everyday-work at a company or solving an important task. Furthermore, they will expand their intercultural competence and speaking ability. The participants are apprentices for vehicle mechatronic and take part in several extracurricular activities, e.g. an energy-efficiency course or a welding course.Of special interest are possible difficulties and obstacles during the completion of an international project and the ways to solve them.An additional aim is to proliferate the values of our school (healthy school, energy-efficient work) via our pupils. The participants are all apprentices receiving education for their profession and of general nature. Key qualifications are promoted, too. With the use of a standardized survey sheet the intercultural exchange and individual growth of competences and qualifications can be evaluated. The apprentices will present their experiences via short presentations with a focus on the different vocational training system in the partner country. The results of the Ersamus+ exchange will be communicated internally with the Newsletter and the yearbook.
