Interdisciplinary school – school of the futureTwo-year project aimed at making educational offer for future students more attractive by developing teachers’ skills, establishing new international contacts, and combating professional burnout.14 teachers of different subjects, different backgrounds and experience will be involved in the project.Main activities include participation in courses focusing on: - using IT and social media, - innovative approach to teaching foreign languages,- implementing culture into foreign language classroom,- increase of language competence and skills of teachers of all subjects,- school exchanges and international projects,- building positive relationships and effective conflict management.Methodology:- workshops and lectures giving an insight into linguistics, psychology, methods of teaching, cultural awareness, Information Technology, - task-based projects,- observations and evaluation of lessons,- participation in field trips and cultural events.Expected results:- better quality of education, - promoting the European Dimension in Education- improving the quality of teaching and teachers' knowledge, skills and competence,- personal development,- increasing teachers' motivation and engagement.Impact: - directly: on the participants of the project by enriching their knowledge/data base / teaching techniques,- indirectly: on students and the local environment by organising workshops, seminars, presentations, Open Days and publications.Long-term effects:- introducing improvements in teaching approaches,- enhancing school's educational offer by implementing techniques and materials collected during teachers' participation in the courses,-boosting teachers' motivation to continue their personal development, and to follow further education and training.
