Intercultural Quality is a sixths-day Seminar under Youth mobility action which will take place in Zlatibor , Serbia from 21-28 08. 2016. Seminar will be organized by Zentralrat der Serben in Deutschland e.V. organization from Germany. Organization E.O.M from Serbia will be the hosting organization. Local team will be consisted of 2 people that will be in charge of providing all the necessary activities such as preparation of workshop rooms, organizing free time activities and outdoor activities, organizing transport, contacting with the hotel etc., during the realization phase. For the organization of the activities there will be a team of 2 local facilitators and 1 international speaker/rapporterParticipants are coming from: Germany, Serbia, Turkey, Montenegro, Spain, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Estonia, Greece, Romania, Cyprus, Austria, France, SwedenThe overall aim of the project and our main activity is to train youth workers, youth leaders, teachers, social workers, etc. on use the Milton J. Bennett model in their daily work and lives in order to improve their intercultural competence to work with different target groups e.g. minorities, immigrants, Roma young people, etc. 8 phases of the model have to be understood by youth workers and share methods, tools and techniques how they can support young people from different cultural background to reach the certain phase or go forward to the next phase in local level then invent new youth projects e.g. youth exchanges, EVS and trainings in order to improve intercultural competences of young people in European level according to the proposals of Erasmus +The methodological flow of the project:- Get to know the Developmental model of intercultural sensitiveness made by Milton J. Bennett;- To adapt the academic model to youth work reality through self –assessment and dialogue space;- Go through the 8 phases of the model: Ambiguity; Getting to know other culture; Understand other culture; Tolerance of differences; Acceptance of differences; Appreciation of diversity; Adaptation; Ability to function in other culture and share, exchange and explore methods, tools and techniques how they can be used by with and for young people with different cultural backgrounds;- Invent new youth projects as youth exchanges, EVS and training supported by Key Action 1 Mobility projects for young people and youth workers according to the proposals of Erasmus +
