Intercultural communication for the local community

Within the project “Intercultural communication for the local community” four Polish volunteers implemented their 9 months service in Russian Federation, two of them in Kirov (Kaleydoskop) and two in Vladimir Euroclub (Vladimir). The main topics that the volunteers were working with were creativity, art and culture, youth participation and leisure, social dialogue. The volunteers were involved in numerous activities organised by their hosting organisations. They had also space to propose, develop and implement their own ideas. The main aim of the both hosting organisations was creating conditions for development and support of initiatives, personal self-determination and self-realization of children, youth and families, and promoting their involvement into governmental, economic and social processes occurring on the territory of the municipality Kirov and Vladimir. The volunteers were working with children, youth, students, adults and families delivering them different workshops and activities based on non-formal education methodology.
