The project "Youth Exchange with the Week for the Rights of Youth 2016" proposes the participation of 40 young people (socially vulnerable), the 2 participating countries: Portugal and Spain, in the preparation, animation and development of the activity that has been developing since 2010 in CENTRE ESPLAI (Prat de Llobregat-Barcelona-Spain) and annually; "Week for the Rights of Youth". "Young with SPDJ 2016" represents an opportunity to consolidate the project "Youth Exchange with the Week for the Rights of Youth" supported in 2014 and 2015 by ERASMUS PLUS (REF.2014-1-ES02-KA105- 000091 and REF.2015-1-ES02-KA105-005836); whose good results ."Young with SPDJ 2016" aims to create a space for youth rights dialogue, human rights, with young people as protagonists.The main objectives are: -To promote and develop the capabilities of active, critical and engaged citizenship among youth participants, from the perspective of rights. Promote exchange and reflection on human values and citizenship of the European Union, generating processes further multiplication of added values (with peers), in the areas of relationship of youth participants: circle of peers, friends / as, family, associative environment, neighborhood, community, etc. - Consolidating democratic spaces for youth participation at local, regional and European level, promoting the comprehensive personal development / young participants, building bridges among themselves, to develop their ability to interact with other young Europeans, in a multilingual and intercultural context. Focusing on overcoming social, economic, cultural, etc. barriers efficiently. - Promote youth empowerment through self-managed work, youth leadership and empowerment of their skills and abilities.The project has different activities and moments:1) October 2016 the "Youth Exchange" CENTRE ESPLAI. El Prat de Llobregat-Barcelona-Spain.40 young people and 2 facilitators involved in an active dialogue for their rights, and human rights, where young people will present and propose activities, proposals, ideas and demands to other young people who want to activate, around topics : 1 / European citizenship. European conscience and democracy 2 / Youth (participation, youth work, youth policy); 3 / Achieving political level / dialogue with decision-makers.2) Activities of 10th December 2016. Dissemination of results of Youth Exchange in October 2016, in their countries, activities and workshops, supported by partners in each country, and the leader partner.3) From December 2016 to February 2017. Activities in social networks, on the debates, ideas, proposals, communications, challenges, etc. Young people in their countries develop strategies for disseminating deals.4) February 2017 evaluation meeting in skype: participate 3 young from Spain and Portugal, and one facilitator/ country; the participants valued the work process, impact, results and added value of learning and the impact on young people, on people and organizations concerning.Long-term benefits: Young people participating in the Youth Exchange in particular will have more ideas and information about what the reality of Youth in each countries: Portugal and Spain, and what situations they live, what concerns and motivations are, and what activities they develop or participate as a means of enhancing their rights and improve vulnerabilities.
