This Project has been designed for the formation of our professors, and the main objective is to train the teachers from our school, and those of other schools, in new innovative methodologies and creative teaching styles. These methods will transmit significant learning advantages to the students. The courses will be based on a practical methodology, “learning by doing”, the main principal will be to stimulate the participants in order to accept and embrace the new concepts learned, in accordance they will participate actively in the project. The course will take place in an interactive environment, consisting of debates, informative sessions, practical workshops, brainstorming, etc.The use of games allows, both, teachers and students to develop their creative potentials in order to create an interactive learning environment while teaching the skills in the course curriculum. Therefore, the course and our intended project will include the importance and effect of educational games on the students´ motivation. It will focus on the importance and necessity of games and new technologies used in the development of significant learning. Technology also plays a significant role in the course, because we live in a cultural context where digital media is fundamental. Educators are aware of the importance of educating their students in digital literacy and to teach them to view and use new technologies. But not only as a means of entertainment or communication, but also as a source of knowledge and training as an educational tool.The participants of the project are four teachers from the English Department at CEU San Pablo Sevilla. The faculty has high English skills, and possess a clear vocation of service to others through teaching, and are eager to innovate and learn new ideas and concepts.Through this project we hope to achieve a significant increase in the quality of our school, with a direct positive impact this has on our students. Likewise, we expect that the participants gain more creative teaching and learning methodologies and are capable of motivating the students through attractive and exciting educational materials.At Colegio CEU San Pablo Sevilla we focus on Innovation, Education and Teaching as a means to enhance the intellectual and social development of our students. We understand that innovation is an attitude of deep critical sense and that the need, in this case, to provide our students with the best educational perspective as well as the most effective teaching tools. We want to take advantage of the opportunity created by this project to look towards the future of new models and tools that enable the development of skills and competences that students will require in the future.
