Training across frontiers at the click of a mouse : Small businesses can access training and information in collaboration with their counterparts across Europe thanks to this multi-lingual project. The I@LIM Internet portal provides a virtual resources centre with interactive features to enable managers of small businesses to discover how ICT can help them improve their skills and develop their competitiveness. It offers a full range of training products with flexible learning methods to suit each situation. The case studies permit participants to learn from each other, raise their cross-cultural awareness and add a trans-national dimension to their business acumen. This project started in 2000 and lasted 24 months.
