INTegrated ACTion PLAN to Strengthening the Outward-Looking of SMEs in the Border Region and Creating Opportunities to Penetrate New Markets

IntActPlan is about how a joint route of promoting the outward-looking of SMEs & local products to international markets can support non-homogeneous areas to flourish in more than one field.It targets SMEs of the cross-border area that wish to start or increase their export activities; itll benefit them by accomplishing the following objectives:- Facilitating business development & Greece - Albania cooperation.- Promoting & supporting export activities.- Creating solid cooperation structures between entrepreneurs of the same & complementary sectors (horizontal & vertical cooperation).- Supporting SMEs in enhancing knowledge, experience & know-how on foreign target markets.According to research results, SMEs consider services & programs to strengthen their capacity, enhance their competitiveness & increase their growth as necessary. Areas of their interest include E.U. & East-European countries and the cross-border Adriatic area. To address the above needs & interests, IntActPlan bases on previous Cross-border projects that have proven systemic interventions to be more effective & longer lasting compared to occasional & local ones.IntActPlan envisions the integrated approach to competitiveness and territorial cohesion via a new strategy of internationalizing SMEs of the cross-border area. Expected Results: WP1: General Coordination of Partnership & Project; Administrative & Financial Project Management; Enhancement of the PPs staff's Experience in managing Cross-border Programmes.WP2: Circulation of 3000 copies of each (printed & CD-ROMs) Project Communication Package (all Events); Send out of 30 Newsletters (implementation period); Circulation/ Hang-up of 500 Posters (strategic point and all Events); 1000 visits to the Project's Web Site (implementation period).WP3: Utilization of the Business Environment & Market Research Studies and the Business Plan by 50 Entrepreneurs (of cross-border region); Gained Knowledge on the selected Target-Markets; 500 visits to the Promotion of SMEs & Business-Partner Search Channel Web Site (implementation period).WP4: Circulation of 750 copies of each (printed & CD-ROMs) of the Seminar Package; Gained Know-How on Export Activities; Training of 55 Entrepreneurs of the cross-boreder area on Export Activity.WP5: Circulation of 2000 copies of each (printed & CD-ROMs) of the Entrepreneurs' Mobilization Package; Enhancement of the relations among the Partners and Entrepreneurs of both counties; Exposure of SMEs (of cross-border region) to Markets of Third Countries & Penetration of Foreign Markets; Increase of the Export Activity in the cross-border area.WP6: Circulation of 600 copies of each (printed & CD-ROMs) of the Workshops Material; Utilization of the results from the Business Missions and Exhibitions; Best Practices: Benefiting the most from Business Missions and Exhibitions; Gained Know-How: Benefits of the outward-looking business approach.
