The representatives of our school have always tried to provide our students – future graduates – with the education of the highest quality to help them apply their knowledge in practice, possibly help them choose appropriate university education. To strengthen the quality of education, to improve language skills and support growth of teenagers’ personalities, we came with the idea of joining the project Erasmus+. Our students regularly take part in various work experience in economic- oriented companies which help them use their theoretical skills in practice. The idea of experience their work experience abroad - in an English speaking country – sounds very interesting because it would help our students to learn new practical skills and improve their language skills. The aim of the project which is also included in its title “An innovative employee inspired by foreign experience” was to allow our students to have their work experience in a foreign country whose language they learn. Our students would have the possibility to see life in a foreign country, learn about various work possibilities, new trends and being creative at work. The aims of the project are oriented on: · improving the quality and modernization of vocational education through foreign partners, · improving language level of our students, · creating space for development of original methods in the area of vocational education, · creating space for creativity, · increasing the level of practical experience and flexibility of our to-be-graduates. We have chosen 20 students who are in the 3rd and 4th grade of their secondary education. They are all young, creative people with the high sense of responsibility. They will practice their job experience in various companies, hotels and travel agencies. After finishing their mobility abroad, they will obtain one of the highly regarded European certificates - Europass - which confirms going through the short-term attachment. For each participant it is a great experience and it is also very interesting if mentioned in CV and it can help our students finding jobs in the future. Last but not least very important aim of the project is getting to know life and institutions, sights of the country, which is very helpful for their Maturita exam in English language. As the long-term contribution of this project, we expect that our students will continue in developing their language skills, creativity and increasing their practical experience which might help them to be more interesting for their future employers.
