Start date: Jun 1, 2014, End date: May 31, 2016 PROJECT  FINISHED

Our project " Inovative elements of teaching in the disciplines of science ,"is based on the study of science education EURYDICE , which deals with the organization of science teaching in Europe today. The study provides an overview of strategies designed to improve and promote the teaching and learning of science. The most important areas include educational programs , teaching methods and teacher training. This project is also in line with the objectives of the European strategy ET 2020 ( Education and Training) , which is focused on the need to improve the quality of education and promote innovative practices in education and knowledge transfer . One of the most important goals is to expand the learning mobility, modernization and the importance of education and training in a lifelong learning perspective. Another equally important goal of the European institutions is through mobility and cooperation among European schools deliver to teachers the motivation to learn and creativity in the learning process, which will have a positive impact on pupils in schools in which these teachers work. The above facts have become a major driving force behind the development of this project, which should result in the development of skills for creative learning and collaboration in the classroom, increase communication skills of participants, extending the capabilities of teamwork, knowledge, good practice and educational systems of other European countries and also expansion of professional skills of management schools. All the expected results of the project should be in the final stage to have a positive impact particularly on our students. The project calculates with four exits of our teaching staff. Participants in the project are teachers of science, teachers who are actively involved in the innovation of teaching these subjects at our school. These teachers are coordinators of projects that motivate students to study science more deeply such as a project inGenious , Creative Classrooms Lab , Saferinternet etc. Seminars in Iceland and Finland, with which this project counts are focused on experimental science teaching and performance of their school systems. The main topic of the next seminar mentioned in this project, which will be held in the United Kingdom , is " Improving Teaching and Communication Skills in the Classroom " to support innovative teaching elements . So the contents of the above mentioned seminars fully correspond with the objectives of the project, as described above. The skills that will seminar participants be enriched of, will become in the long run-term a great benefit to our students and the entire school.
