Project “Innovative practices for quality vocational education” is aimed for students between 9th and 11th grade from Vocational high school of agriculture - Nova Zagora of specialties “Rural Tourism”, "Mechanization of agriculture" and “Winemaking & Viticulture”. The implementation of the project will enable 20 students to conduct practice in real working environment in Portugal in July and / or August 2016.The project is aimed at realizing the following specific objectives:• Improving the professional qualification and improving the employability of students;• Improving the general and specific knowledge and practical skills of the participants in the profession;• Developing communication skills in foreign language environment and expertise in the distinct industries of Rural Tourism, Mechanics of Agriculture, and Winemaking & Viticulture;• For students to gain new social experience and personal skills;• Improving the ability to work in a team in a multicultural environment;• Establishing an effective partnership between the two institutions;The project will address the need of the school to improve the quality of vocational training and the needs of the participants for a new range of practical activities.By initiating the project proposal we will offer our students the opportunity not only to present themselves in the best way, but the chance to improve their knowledge and skills in the profession. Their increased professional competences within the international internship will make them more prepared for the labor market immediately after graduating from high school. The participants improved skills during the mobility will help them to present in a better way not only their professional training, but their innovation and creativity, which will bring them significant competitive advantages in future employment.The projects activities will increase the level of cooperation between Vocational high school of agriculture - Nova Zagora and its partner who will exchange ideas and good practices. In the long term the project will increase the capacity of the school and amplify the confidence of business in the region about the students’ professional preparation.
