This project is based on the needs of our grammar school to improve the competences of English-language teachers and conditions for wider European cooperation.The project is aimed at the improvement of linguistic, methodological and socio-cultural competences of fEnglish-language teachers, at the improvement of the English language of an employees vital for European cooperation and at the personal formation of professional contacts with teachers from other European schools.On the basis of the school needs, it is planned to send a member of the school management to an English-language course for teachers and four English teachers to cmethodological-language courses to Great Britain.It is expected that more effective English communication of the management member will improve the ability of the school to gain and maintain partnerships for European cooperation. The improvement of linguistic, methodological and socio-cultural competences of foreign-language teachers will lead to better-quality teaching in our school, which will be reflected in the motivation and improved competences of our pupils. At the courses teachers will learn specific methods for using ICT, drama and literature, which they will be able tu use both in their foreign-language classes and also in projects. These courses will be beneficial due to the possibility of meeting other European teachers.This project will lead to the developement of European partnerships in our school and consequently creation of more possibilities of informal learning for our pupils. The long-term goal of the project is to heighten the competitivness of our graduates in the university and career environment.
