Association of European Advisors PLinEU is a Polish non-governmental organization that promotes, implement and develop innovative solutions for Life Balance. For aprox. 13 years we have completed many projects in education and training areas, which supported both organizations and individuals .
This project was a response to the organizational development need, which had appeared in connection with the strategic goal of strengthening the Association educational offer for people 50+ and young people through the preparation and implementation of innovative programs that shape entrepreneurial attitudes and habits of a healthy lifestyle. The second group was related to the needs of broadening European dimension of the Association activities.
The aim of the project activities undertook in cooperation with a partner ProActivate was to raise the competence of key coaching and training staff and equip their professional workshop with innovative and effective tools adjusted to the new target groups: 50+ and young people. The second objective was to increase the quality of organisation management, particulary in terms of effective international project development and implementation
Within the project we organized 26 mobilities, based on participation in training courses developed by the partner ProActivate. The choice of training topics was the result of internal analysis, which we had undertaken as a part of the employee evaluation and recommendation given by partner. The group of participants consisted of trainers, coaches, project coordinators and administrators.
The project activities were divided into three main stages:
1/ The preparatory phase was focused on the participants' introduction into the training process. ProActivate conducted the individual needs analysis and tasks and on base of this analise they prepared the final courses programmes. The organizational meetings and meetings devoted to the development of language skills were also held during this stage.
2/ Implementation of mobilities. The first group of participants took part in an extensive educational program on coaching competences: Competences at working with people on the basis of 50 Healthy Active Living for Seniors; Coaching Competences in promoting entrepreneurship among young people; Innovative coaching competence in working with young people and those 50+. The second group of trainings was devoted for those involved in the administration of international education projects: Communication in multicultural environment; Coordination of international education projects.
3/ Implementation of the results. Each participant was obliged to run an individual project based on the acquired knowledge, new skills. During this process, we benefited also from the mentoring support from the partner.
The project contributed to strengthening the capacity of human resources of PLinEU Association. Professional competences of our team were enriched with the new effective training programs related to entrepreneurship and healthy lifestyle. We gained new target groups and strengthen the European dimension of our projects. On the bases of these results in the longer term, the Association PLinEU will even better and more effectively support people in the field of Life Balance, will become a precursor to changes in this aspect, which in the context of serious demographic change, has become a priority and challenge at the regional, national and European level.
