Information and communication technologies (ICT) and new teaching paradigms are reshaping education. The annual international ecoMEDIAeurope conferences relentlessly provide a forum for teachers, practitioners, researchers, administrators and decision makers from schools, vocational schools, and universities to exchange ideas, experiences, opinions and research results about innovative teaching and learning methodologies. The mission of the ecoMEDIAeurope educational network with partners from 26 nations is to support educational initiatives of the European Commission with technology- based approaches. In 2016, ecoMEDIAeurope is being hosted by the University Alexandru Ioan Cuza Iași, supported by the Ministry of Education, Education, School Insprectorate of Neamt County and Iasi as well as College Costache Negruzzi.The conference attracts participants from all over Europe and allows for sharing experiences in several ways like papers, panels, knowledge cafés, workshops, demonstrations, corporate showcases, discussions, and also excursions.
