The overall objective of the project is to achieve a sustainable management of protected natural areas in the Black Sea Basin and development of innovative methods for integrating the protected natural areas in the overall strategies for urban and socio-economic development in the partnering regions. Achievements: Joint knowledge pool about all protected natural areas in the partnering regions.Mapping of all protected areas in the partnering regions.Improved capacity of the partnering organisations in sustainable management of protected natural areas.New informational tool for protected natural areas in the Black Sea region – the web platform Black Sea Ecopedia.Innovative methods for integrating the protected natural areas in the overall strategies for urban and socio economic development in the partnering regions developed.
