Innovation cross-universities network for development of partnership with enterprises

The priority subject area for this multi-country project is a development of partnership with enterprises for partner Universities, including selection, promotion and commercialization of Universities technologies.The specific project objective is to create the innovation cross-universities network at Russian, Ukrainian, Belarusian and Azerbaijani partner Universities to establish an effective system for partnership with regional enterprises from energy sector of industry and start to transfer Universities technologies into the market by December 2012. The target group of this JEP will be the partner Universities researchers, inventors andadministrative staff. The emphasis will be made on participation of PhD students from science faculties and centers - the potential entrepreneurs.Wider objective. To ensure that the targeted partner Universities are in positions to offer new technologies which are targered toward the changing need of the regional enterprises from the energy sector of industry.State-of-artThe purpose of the innovation cross-universities network is to provide an effective system of management of the Russian, Ukrainian, Belarusian and Azerbaijani partner Universities partnership with enterprises from the energy sector of industry. Using the accumulated knowledge and expertise from four highest ranked European Universities we are going to create and test the new tool, which will be international in outlook, promoting an understanding of the diversity of technology transfer and commercialization cultures in Europe and the importance of being world class, even in local markets, while at the same time understanding how to manage the rich technological culture of the EU.Mutual benefitIn the frame of the project we expect a collaboration between Russian, Ukrainian, Belarusian and Azerbaijani and European Universities in establishing of a common framework of reference and a dissemination of best practice. Within the project EU partners will transfer accumulated knowledge and expertise on the one hand, and will get feedback and new professional information from their Russian, Ukrainian, Belarusian and Azerbaijani colleges, on the other.
