The aim of the project is to a) expand the innovation co-operation between the central actors committed to the development of entrepreneurship working in South-East Finland and the St. Petersburg and Leningrad regions (e.g. business incubators and technology parks in the region of South-East Finland, and universities, research institutes, leading enterprises in energy and other industries as well as unions/foundations/associations of entrepreneurs and enterprises in St. Petersburg, etc.). b) To train personnel for developing innovative projects and international co-operation relationships. c) The creation of an electronic business and information network. d) Spreading information and knowledge on the possibilities of the development work of innovative product and service solutions to the enterprises in the target region. e) Promotion and support of the co-operation projects selected during the period of implementation of the project and preparing Finnish parties for the development co-operation.
