Opening the Schengen Border Zone created new opportunities in connection with the Hungarian Slovakian relation. During the summer 2009 the Hungarian floating capital substance reached 2,8 billion HUF (10 million EUR), some estimate that the number of Hungarian enterprises, stepping into the Slovakian market is about 9 000 - 10 000. Hungary is the fifth biggest foreign Investor in Slovakia. On reverse mostly enterprises from the furniture and comestible industry appeared in Hungary, during the first times. Slovakia is only the twelfth most important partner for Hungary. The business environment is not following the rapid changes in the business life, Hungarian entrepreneurs in Slovakia, and reverse can´t get sustainable legal, public accountancy and business guidance. Even if they get something is not on the language they speak. The project provide the following needs:- Lack of connection between the neighboring regions chambers- Lack of information about the neighboring country´s market environment and about regulations on setting up an enterprise- Facilitate the business appearance on the other side of the border- Cut back the differences between the investments in Hungary and Slovakia- Cut back the appearance of small and medium enterprises in South-Slovakia, which want to reduce taxes without any real market aim - Lack of information regarding potent business partners- Lack of information about labor force. Achievements: Joining the European Union created new conditions for improving economic connections in Hungary and Slovakia. Opening the borders and the free movement of capital, goods, services and workers creates a new framework which has an influence on the everyday life of people living in the programme area. In order to meet the expectations towards Banská Bystrica Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SOPK) and the Budapest Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BKIK), the partners decided to connect their services through a common web platform and to offer services for entrepreneurs from both countries. The project partners developed a multilingual portal for companies where registered users can upload their company data, images, logos, maps and information about their services. Innoinfo site users can display their partnerships and find new partners from the other side of the border.
