Search for European Projects

Inkluusio ja samanaikaisopettajuus perusopetuksessa
Start date: Jun 1, 2015, End date: May 31, 2017 PROJECT  FINISHED

The main purpose of the project is to find new inclusive teaching methods and practices in Hämeenkylä school. With these methods we would be able to offer disabled students education that meets their special needs in different subjects. One of our goals is also to get new ideas how to co-teach efficiently. Our school used to have only grades from seven to nine and is now gradually becoming a comprehensive school for grades from one to nine. This is one reason why we need new ways to organize our teaching inclusively. One of our goals is to provide a safe and continuous learning path that meets disabled students’ special needs through the whole comprehensive school. In addition, we are going to use the new ideas and methods that we learn during the project when we are writing our new curriculum for our school. Our partner school is co-operating with many different external institutions. After the project we hope to be able to benefit from this kind of co-operation as well. We hope that we will benefit from the Erasmus+ project and would be able to develop the ways inclusion is carried out in our school.
