Inklusion in Italien - Schule und Lernen in Südtirol/ Italien
Start date: Jun 26, 2014, End date: Jun 25, 2015 PROJECT  FINISHED

Albert-Schweitzer-School Hameln has been working with integrating schooling concepts all over the region Hameln-Pyrmont for nearly 20 years. In our teaching staff there are two highly committed colleagues who have been working in our region in different voluntary commitees concerning inclusion. They have already taken part in a Comenius-project in Finland, have gained there a lot of experiences and have passed them on to staff members within our institution as well as to people in different other institutions of society. By taking part in the seminar we hope for our two colleagues to receive further knowledge and support for the conceptional development of our centre of inclusion. Furthermore we expect didacticel and methodical stimulus for the work of our complete staff on our way to an inclusive school. Germany joined the UN-convention of human rights (regarding handicapped people!) in March 2009. This makes necessary a change of paradigma with regard to dealing with handicapped persons within society. This aim can be supported by including experiences of other European countries whose school systems already have well-functioning systems of inclusion.
