The project "Initializing international teacher training and exchange on topics according to the schools development plan" is to increase international staff mobility. International teacher trainings are good occasions to find potential partners for international school partnerships and exchange partners for student and staff mobility. Furthermore, international teacher training centres provide a wide range of training possibilities to train the staff according to the school’s needs. The three main goals of our actual school development plan, which this project is based on, are “Individualized Learning”, “(Learning)Coaching” and “Internationalization”. By sending two participants to teacher trainings in the UK about methodology and communication, especially drama techniques, and additional coaching and consulting methods, we hope to achieve all three goals. Both teachers should be able to participate in the course, held in English on level B2/C1 CEFR. Also they should have made a further qualification to become a “(Learning)Coach” and gained some experiences with “Individualized Learning” to participate successfully. Next to developing our knowledge and skills about coaching, consulting and teaching methodology we hope to motivate and encourage more teachers to enrol for international training courses and to expand our international network.
