INICI@ - Technical Training and Accreditation System for Entrepreneurs

The INICI@ project will develop technical training and accreditation systems for entrepreneurs, meeting the information and training needs of this group, providing services and monitoring the products developed in order to provide entrepreneur spirit amongst university students, thus encouraging the start-up of individual businesses.Activities will include: analysis of the professional itineraries followed by entrepreneurs in the participating countries; identification of the training needs and requirements in order to become an entrepreneur; creation of an interdisciplinary panel of experts responsible for the design and follow-up of training and placement activities and for the development of an accreditation system; implementation of a training structure able to meet the identified training gaps which exist between what is currently taught and what is required in order to become an entrepreneur; definition of an overall package of support services to entrepreneurs.Results of the project expect to include: a European observatory for entrepreneurship; an outline map of existing entrepreneurship studies; an outline report on identified training needs; an outline training plan; a system of placements for potential entrepreneurs; an information and guidance paper for tutors; a specialist INICI@ network for the support of entrepreneurs.Dissemination is planned via existing and project-centred networks, through communication to relevant press and journals, through partner websites and through the INICI@ web platform where all project results will be placed.
