"Informatyk programista, czyli profesjonalny start na europejskim rynku pracy"

The project "IT specialist and computer programmer that is a professional enter on the European labor market" was attended by 60 IT computer students from Vocational School No. 1 of Joseph Psarski in Ostroleka. The aim of the project was to increase the professional skills of students and help young people enter the labor market. With the experience gained during the placement of foreign students become much more competitive in the labor market, they increased their occupational mobility and participation in the project helped equalize the chances of young people from the country, which because of geographical origin is mainly agricultural, which also strengthened the region. Project participants went to 21-days training abroad in three rounds in May and June 2015. Through contact with specific tasks and problems in the workplace, young people gained experience and learned how to respond to the challenges and problems in the workplace. Contact with the latest technologies and practices in the field, with professionals working with different hardware and software than in Poland contributed to broaden the knowledge and skills of students. The main results of the training was to acquire a number of skills including : configuring computer equipment, organization and equipment of the company for processing information and use of processing technologies, web development. By participating in the project, students also developed interpersonal skills and lifted cultural and language skills, learned self-reliance and responsibility for decisions, learned cooperation and competition in the building career paths.
