The " IT specialists in mobile Europe" project is directed to the I – IV form students of Information Technology Technical School in ZSPiPOW nr 3 in Piotrków Trybunalski. The project is designed for 10 students who are bound to take part in an three-week traineeship in the summer of 2016 in IT companies in Germany. Our school has started cooperation with a partner from Germany, the Berlink company with its base in Berlin. The Berlink company has a great experience in co-operating in mobile projects. 10 best students will be selected to take part in the project.First of all, students from poor families will be taken into consideration. They will be chosen after having taken a school test checking their knowledge and skills in the field of vocational subjects and foreign languages. Next the students will be selected to train in German IT companies after having completed a questionaire prepared by the Berlink company, the aim of which is to arrange classes adjusted to the students` individual interests and skills. The students will be asigned tasks connected with writing web-based applications, multimedia processing, computer graphics and structural and object-oriented programming. They are going to deal with personal computer diagnostics and service as well as with administration of operating systems and local networks. Taking part in the project results from the need the strengthen the bonds between education and work. Thanks to the project the students will be given a chance to develop their vocational skills, make use of their attained knowledge in practical tasks assigned by the IT companies. Besides, the students will have an opportunity to get to know the realities of working life , which is not possible in the school environment as they get to know its ins and outs only when they face the necessity to start work. It is a common problem both for the employees and employers. Such a traineeship is also intended to make the European integration in the field of vocational education stronger. Moreover, its is to broaden the students` vocational and territorial horizons, their language abilities and their understanding of culture. Thanks to that, the participants will become well-qualified employees who can cope on the European labour market or they can be self-employed and develop the infrastructure in his home environment. The needs presented above will make it possible to raise the standard of education, to choose the educational contents more appropriately and in accordance with the core curriculum and to even the level of correlations between school subjects. The aims of "IT specialists in mobile Europe" project:- to enable the participants of the project to acquire work experience and to raise their professional competence- to get to know new IT Technologies and to transfer them to the Polish labour market and education system- to give a chance to modernize and make a wider use of information and communication technologies in the rural areas- to make it possible to enhance the students` mobility in Europe by getting to know the European labour market and the culture of the country and by overcoming the students` linguistic barriers- to enable to develop personal qualities such as responsibility, creativity, self-organization, initiative and the ability to work in a team- to modify education levels- to overcome differences in school subjects- to improve school vocational training.- to raise the level of education on the EU citizenship and to encourage young people to participate actively in shaping the UE policy The project will contribute to achieving the following aims: it will increase the students` chances to find employment and it will give them better career prospects. Thanks to the project the students are bound to develop their skills and knowledge and gain further practical and theorectical qualifications as well. They are going to build their self-esteem and self-confidence thanks to which the students will have a better chance on the labour market. They will be highly appreciated by employers not only in Poland but also in all the European countries. Besides, they will be able to improve their command of foreign languages, enhance their cultural awarness, widen their knowledge of European projects and European Union values. The project will also prove beneficial for the applicant as the participants` experience gained during the training abroad will be used in the changes which schooling is experiencing. The project will also provide numerous benefits to the participant organizations. At school it will contribute to improving curricula and vocational training. The ability to act on the international/ European Union level will be increased.
