Information and communication at European standards in cross-border area Nadlac-Tótkomlós (Info-com)

The main goal of the project is to create an information and communication network, in order to address the residents from cross-border area Nadlac-Tótkomlós. Within the project a free Web TV, accessible to the 15,000 inhabitants from the cross-border area is developed, aiming to promote positive experiences from both sides of the border, to create new opportunities for the socio-economical development of the area, through a greater mobility of individuals, an active training of the target group and producing materials to be posted on the website. With the help of joint thematic publications which have been printed and distributed for free in both localities the culture and national values of the cooperation area were promoted, thus facilitating the beneficiaries' access to useful information regarding the activity of some institutions and public organizations and creating instruments for cross-border population in order to know what is happening in the two localities and to be able to make a decision and get involved in the collaboration of that two localities.The target groups of the project are 15,000 citizens from the both localities, Nadlac and Tótkomlós, who benefit from the cross-border publications printed and distributed. The online media materials available on WEB TV can be accessed by the people from the border area who have access to the Internet. The results of the activities are published free, available for all citizens regardless nationality, ethnicity, social status etc.
