The national meeting of young people and persons responsible for politics for the young, entitled Information-Motivation-Action, within the Programme "Young People in Action", Sub-action 5.1, will take place in Zagreb, on the Sljeme mountain, from 9th till 11th of November, 2011.The 42 participants of the meeting are young people of various profiles. Some of them are not active members of organizations of the civil society or administrative bodies for issues of young people, some are representatives of youth organizations and the Youth Council of the City of Zagreb, representatives of municipal administrative bodies and central Public Administration bodies, who participate directly, at local or national levels, through their decisions or the implementation of their decisions, in the forming of young people's lives in this city and country.This meeting and the direct interaction of participants will offer young people the opportunity to speak about their problems, requirements and wishes. The dialog with the people responsible for the youth politics will offer them a chance to find answers and form their demands into specific measures of the future politics for young people.Through this dialog, experts and decision makers will be able to improve their understanding of the specific needs of young people within the community.The emphasis will be on the importance of correct and timely informing and advising of the young about their rights and the opportunities of active participation in the life of the local community.The results of the meeting will be used for designing of the future Programme for Young People and the improving of the range offered by the Info Centre for Young People through programme networking and a better distribution of information from the public and civil sector, all from a single location.
