Concerning our school development process, our school is trying to optimize processes on the one hand and is trying to trigger off positive development. Dealing with experiences made in various school systems and educational facilities with different political, structural and cultural background we want to gain insight into weaknesses of our system in order to be able to change/replace relevant aspects. We are especially interested in the application of various teaching methods as well as teaching material, structural organisation of learning and ways to ensure the targeted outcome.By visiting educational facilities in Finland and Scotland we want to provide our board of teachers with relevant information and ideas for oncoming structural improvements in our school.MMag. Stadler will therefore investigate the Scottish way of ensuring quality in schools whereas Mag. Öhlinger and Mag. Hiesmayr want to gain an insight into the Finnish school system. Finally a team of teachers will be responsible for the implementation of suitable methods and experiences to ensure improvement in the longrun.Members of the team:The aim of the project is to enforce individual learning and the strenghtning of individual learning strategies, offering appropriate methods of quality assurance not only to ensure lifelong learning, but also to offer applicable strategies.
