Inclusion - bridge of 21st century

The project "Inclusion - bridge of the 21st century" will take place from the 7th till 11th of July, 2009, in Stalgene, Jaunsvirlauka municipality. The main aim of the project is to foster the inclusion of the youngsters with the fewer opportunities in society by creating effective partnerships and developing common projects. The project is also an answer to the conclusions of the partners that work in youth field that it is observed a lack of effective partnership and cooperation among youth workers, local authorities and organizations, as well as lack of knowledge, how to work with "Youth in Action" program in most efficient way. In total 11 countries will be represented in the project - participants will be youth workers and young people that want to change the envrionment around them.The main activities of the project - introduction session (get to know each other), discussion on "inclusion" term, presentations of NGOs, establishment of new partnerships, deeper introduction to program "Youth in Action" and possibilities it offers, developmnet of new projects, visit in Jelgava district council, evaluation session. The planned methods- ice-breakers, name games, team building acitvities, discussions, brain-storm, Desney method, project planning, group work, evaluation using methods with artistic elements like postcards and drawing method.
