The objective is to promote common spatial planning initiatives across border consisting of implementing principles of sustainability in integrated space development concept in urban settlements of Romania-Ukraine-Republic of Moldova cross-border area, determined by Iasi county, Chisinau county and Chernovtsy county by promoting new current of urban and space development concepts in order to stimulate urban and space competition between localities and to increase the degree of polarization between them. Expected Results: Development of the study on the integrated spatial development concepts in urban settlements and the needs to develop urban settlements in an integrated spatial manner in cross-border area: good and grounded overview on the new directions and principals of urban development and needs for integrated urban development in cross-border area.
