The project " In the Footsteps of JA Comenius " is developed in cooperation with our partners ADC College , based in London . Our purpose as a sending organization, was to provide their pupils with the opportunity mobility abroad, so that they can learn about different ways of teaching and learning technologies in alternative types of kindergartens. The project is designed for 16 students of third and fourth years at four-year graduation study in the teaching for kindergartens and tutoring . The main objective of the project is to promote quality and innovation in vocational training at our secondary school. The specific objectives of the project are mainly the improvement of communication skills, broaden the knowledge and skills necessary to direct educational activities with children, getting inspiration in alternative types of kindergartens in their field and acquire greater self-confidence in the performance of their future profession to follow better in the labor market. At the same time students get to know different levels of education , other forms of learning, different learning processes and different atmosphere relationships between teachers and pupils in alternative types of kindergartens and thus gain international experience in the field, ie. in real kindergartens . These objectives achieved by implementing major activities: choosing the topic "Methods to improve the quality of the project entitled In the Footsteps of JA Comenius ' , exploring cultural diversity , using an approach through the school curriculum. Internship students will be held in London for a period of two weeks in February 2015. The project will also involve the teachers of English, who prepare students for language and cultural training course. Students through the course strengthen language skills, handle technical terminology in the field of pre- primary education and learn about cultural differences within Great Britain. Also develop a resume, complete the necessary forms and will be prepared to gain maximum knowledge, which then they use abroad. For a successful internship it is important to prepare the students best. During the internship the school will provide two accompanying persons whose task will be to monitor program, to communicate with the receiving organization ADC College and partner organizations, in which students will be during the internship placement . The expected outcome of the project is to obtain a Europass mobility for all participants and participating internship certificate from ADC College. Likewise, the students will acquire professional competence and active identification with the department that they study and are actively involved in the running of the institutions during mobility. Mobility should help deepen their professional knowledge and improve practical skills. Students will recognize different levels of education, other forms of learning, different learning processes and different atmosphere relationships between teachers and pupils in alternative kindergartens in the UK. Based on the above they will be able to compare due to the mobility of working practices and systems of work in kindergartens in Slovakia and the UK.
