Our school is situated in a rural area in the inside part of Catalonia, which have been afected by the crisis. We have approximately 280 students who come from our village or from smalll villages around it.We have a great number of inmigrants. These are the reasons that make us give our students all the possibilities to improve themselves in both areas, academic and personal and give them the same oportunities to all of them independently of their economic situation, ethnia and gender in order to develop themselves in spite of the location and the small size of our school. Because of this, we have been doing many acticities during some years, which help them to improve their academic level as well as their human level. We have done some Comenius Projects in associationh with other European countries, some Etwinning Projects, some exchanges with students from other countries, we have introduced the English Language in some subjects (Technology in 4th ESO) through CLIL (Content and Language integrated Learning) methodology, the students have participated in some occasions in Projects with the English as language of communication, the students can study French as a second foreign Language, the Foreign Languages Department organizes some visits to London or Paris at the end of the school year. As it is shown, the teachers, students and their parents are very sensitized to the learning of foreign languages. The number of participants who will attend to the activities and will be directly involved in the Foreign Languages Impulse Project will be 7. Their characteristics are different taking into account that this is a Multidisciplinary Project and it involves some different curricular areas: Technology, Human Science, Science and Foreign Languages. All the participants have the required minimum level to participate in the activities, its implementation in the classrooms and collaboration in the Project. The teachers will attend to Methodology courses or language depending on our center needs in relation to the project with the students. The activities related to the project will be on one hand the ones made by the teachers and on the other hand the implementation of the results of the teachers activities during the two years with the students. Regarding the activities with the students we can distinguish some of them: Using CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) methodology, realization of partnerships Projects, realization of exchanges with other schools from the European Union, Etwinning Projects and finally other International Projects or activities which need the use of foreign languages. The Methodology used to put the activities in practice will be very active, the teacher will be the encouraging learning process, with a high amount of oral and writing communicative skills and a lot of interaction between the students. The results of the foreseable impact after the Project realization will be: 1- Give some subjects or part of them in English Technology, Geography and History, Biology and Latin and Greek Cultures. 2-Second Foreign Language impulse (French) 3-Improve the National Foreign Languages results. 4- Improve the teachers skills and competences in foreign Languages and motivate other teachers to learn foreign Languages. Furthermore the project will be sustainable because after finishing the present project there will be continuity with the work in Foreign Languages thanks to the starting of a new project called "GEP"( Plurilingual Experimental Group). The objective of this new project is to follow an integrated Foreign Language work: some teachers from different subjects will make some part of these activities in English Language. With these kind of methodology and activities the Foreign Language students competence will be increased. Our school will start this new project in the school year 2016-17. Finally we want to underline that the foreseen impact with all the activities with our students will help them not only to improve the foreign linguistic skills but in their education as persons and as European citizens and that all the people involved in the Project realize the importance of knowing foreign Languages and its European dimension, at the same time that internationalizes our school.
