IMPROVING THE PLACEMENTS AND INTERNSHIPS FROM ACADEMIA TO ENTERPRISES

It is well known that through cooperation and synergy of the stakeholders, cooperation between the research, business and industry can create mechanisms to promote innovation at a Regional and European level and contribute to the technological development in Europe. To develop and apply a medium - long term quality strategy aiming at identifying needs, raising awareness, and introducing and developing actions, models, measures, tools and good practices regarding the internships and placements of students of all levels in industry and enterprises, the partners will join forces in collecting good practices in placements and develop a methodology and tools for measuring the quality is such activities. The collection of good practices will be done through survey, meetings and round table discussion. At the same time the project will collect good practises on models and tools for managing placements as well as models and tools for cooperation with enterprises and industry. The project will also study good practices in staff training mobility. To help implementing the improved approaches the project will develop a common web-platform, which will be used for sharing data bases between the partners and future users. The aim of this project is to attain a better and stronger communication and cooperation between Enterprises and Academia with emphasis on the placement of students in industry and enterprises as well as developing cooperation on research activity of postgraduate students that could involve enterprises.
