Start date: Sep 1, 2016, End date: Aug 31, 2018 PROJECT  FINISHED

Due to the climate change occured following great energy consumption, all the countries take measures of diminishing this situation worldwide. One of the methods is the automation of electrical installations in the houses, which results in more than 30% power saving at an average amount of energy used. The project is aimed at developing as well the basic key competences in the students in electrical installations (home automation installations),at an European level but also at training teachers in this field and enabling their access to an updated curricula and to the documentation involved. There is also intended the use of Moodle for implementing and disseminating the project.Purposes:increasing the knowledge of students/teachers in building home automation installations; adapting educational offers of the institutions involved in the project to the new economic conditions involved by labour market dynamics;building professional relationships between the teachers of the schools participating in the project in order to establish employment opportunities for students and to enable their integration on the European labour market;increasing the quality of basic professional training and continuous development through the use of ICT including Moodle. There will be10 (ten) specialized teachers in the field, coming from Romania,Italy,Spain,Germany and Portugal,an engineer from a electrical installations company from Romania (to ellaborate the intellectual outcomes), 5(five) Romanian specialized teachers involved in professional development in the home automation field, 14 (fourteen) Romanian students involved in achieving practical instruction in the home automation field and one ICT Romanian teacher involved in using the Moddle platform. The target groups are:-school students in the electric field of study, both for the applicant and for the other participating organizations;-teachers at the applicant institution who teach in the field of electric and lack both updated curriculum as well as home automation equipment;-foreign teachers who want to improve the existing programs;-participating firm specialists seeking implementation of home automation in Constanța.The project aims to achieve the following intellectual outcomes: a curricula for home automation installations and documentation (resources) related; a general catalogue of home automation system chosen; a practical guideline for home automation in a house; a manual of instructions for the automation devices used for electric wiring in home automation. To achieve these intellectual outcomes, over a period of two years there will be project meetings between the participating countries, multiplication events for the applicant organisation and also the following activities:1.The training activity of 5 specialized teachers from the applicant at the IES M. Catalan, Spain will consist of practical works with equipment designed for home automation installations, as to be able to implement the new curricula of home automation installations2.The learning/ instructing activity of 14 students from the applicant at the IES M. Catalan, Spain will consist in in practicing home automation installations according to the curricula carried out in collaboration with foreign partners, which, by that time, will have been almost completed, so as to be able to observe the impact on students, the difficulty level concerning its implementation and to achieve necessary feedback. (if needed, possible curriculum changes).3.The training activity of an ICT teacher from the applicant at IES M.
