The aim of this seed project is to identify needs for information and support on chemicals management for small and medium sized companies around the Baltic Sea, and to lay ground for a larger scale EU funded project. The aim is to increase awareness among companies, in particular in the Eastern Baltic Sea region, regarding the problems connected to using hazardous chemicals in products and processes, and the legal obligations that has to be fulfilled and possible solutions such as developing internal chemical management strategies. The seed project is a modified version of the previous project Reduce the use of Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) in the Baltic Sea Region.
