Improvement of the traffic-oriented infrastructure within the close-to-the-border region, county road No K 7318 – complete expansion between the level crossing in Seehausen to the crossroads in Blankenburg. The K 7318 is the only west-east-leading street, which crosses the touristic especially interesting Ucker flat in the middle of the Uckermark. In the west it connects to the state road B 109. In the east the B 198 and the B 166 as well as the German freeway A 11 to Berlin respectively Szczecin (Pomellen/ Kołbaskowo) will be reached. Via the state road B 166 you will get to the border crossing Schwedt-Krajnik Dolny. Construction of a new ring road and renovation of the main through-road through Żarczyn on the Voivodeship road No 122, which will thereby guarantee for a better trafficability and a higher road safety. This is a ring road, which will improve the traffic situation and the roadway drainage. Achievements: Stand: 22.07.2014Im Rahmen des Projektes wurde die Straße zwischen Blankenburg und Seehausen auf einer Länge von 3,5 km und einer Breite von 6 m fertiggestellt. Die ausgebaute Kreisstraße ist die einzige west-ost-führende Straße, die in der Mitte der Uckermark die touristisch besonders interessante Uckerniederung durchquert. Sie bindet an die Bundesstraßen und die Bundesautobahn A 11 nach Berlin beziehungsweise Szczecin (Pomellen/ Kołbaskowo) an. Mit dem Bau einer neuen Ortsumgehung und der Sanierung der Ortsdurchfahrt Żarczyn ist eine bessere Befahrbarkeit und eine erhöhte Verkehrssicherheit garantiert. Diese Gesamtmaßnahme trägt zur weiteren Verbesserung der grenzüberschreitenden Verkehrsinfrastruktur in der Euroregion POMERANIA bei.Die Grundlage für die Umsetzung der Verkehrsinfrastrukturprojekte bildet das Konzept "Deutsch-Polnischer Entwicklungsraum Oder/Neiße (DEPERON)".
