Improvement of the attractiveness of north-eastern Poland and Kaliningrad Region by developing and promoting shared tourist trails (ILPR.02.01.00-28-006/10-00)

The overall objective of the project is to improve the efficiency of cooperation between 4 partners of the Action in order to maintain and promote the common cultural heritage of the north-eastern part of Poland and Kaliningrad region of the Russian Federation. Expected Results: 1. Strengthening of the cooperation between three regional governments, one non-profit organization and 18 educational institutions form partner regions in the field of historical heritage by co-financing of two Polish-Russian application forms in the area of preservation or promotion of it. 2. Cooperation network between two neighbour states in producing and promoting cross-border tourist trails created through developing of new tourist product connecting the north-eastern part of Poland with Kaliningrad region. 3. Strengthening and expanding the knowledge of the youngest residents of the partner regions about the history of their country and its neighbour by working out one Polish-Russian application form concerning mutual undertakings for children and youth from partner regions. 4. Two tourist offers developed for Polish travel agencies in form of tourist trails (part of complete routes).
