Improvement of Lithuanian-Polish border security infrastructure through development of emergency service
The general aim of the project is to increase the competitiveness and security of the co-operation region through developing the intensive care service meeting the EU standards. Reconstruction and equipping of the emergency unit and intensive care unit in the Lazdijai hospital, as well as equipping of the intensive care unit at the public independent health care institution in Sejny were the main tasks of the project partners. The premises were renewed, two ambulance automobiles and medical instruments were purchased.
